MLA Formatting

MLA formatting is difficult to understand at first, but after practicing it a few times it has become easier. I have learned that when using MLA every page has a header so that it easy to see which page belongs to who. I have also learned that the heading is on the left side of the page where as before I have learned to put on the right hand side. Also, the work that you do is always double-spaced. MLA will be usefull during the rest of high school and beyond because when every page has a header you can't get them out of order and the MLA style is a good way to keep your work organized.

Journal Topics

For our big research project I think that the topic for our journal should be the difference between governments in countries. Researching different governments would allow us to see how our government is similar and different compared to governments in other countries. Also this would allow us to see how other countries value things. We could also see how the government leaders in other countries rule. I think that we could learn a lot by researching the governments in other countries.

Daily Work for 1/5-1/9

1/5- Today in class we worked on formating the 20 years from now page. We also decided what the portrait pages would look like. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class.
1/6- Today in class we came up with a questionnaire for our portrait pages in the 8th grade section that would describe each person. I think I deserve 5 points for my work in class.
1/7- Today we worked towards finishing the 20 years from now page and got the questionnaire approved to be filled out. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class today.
1/8- Today we worked on the 8th grade portrait pages. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class

Daliy Work for 12/8-12/12

12/8- We continued to take pictures for the most likely part of the yearbook. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work.
12/9- We were able to finish 20 years from now but could not finish the most likely part of the yearbook due to students being absent. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work.
12/10- We graded work because we were not able to take pictures. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work
12/11- We started building the 20 Years form now page for the yearbook and I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class.
12/12- We finished typing the 20 years from now page for the yearbook and I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class today.

11/24- Today we started to take pictures for the eighth grade most likely section. I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class today.
11/25- Today we were working towards finishing the 20 years from now section for the eighth grade section I think that I deserve 5 points for my work in class today.

Yearbook work 11/17-11/21

11/17- Today we worked on the eighth grade favorites I think that I deserve 5 points.
11/18- Today we worked on the eighth grade favorites I think that I deserve 5 points.
11/19- Today we took pictures for the eighth grade section.
11/20- Today my group worked on the 20 years from now part of our section and I think that I deserve 5 points for my work.
11/21- Today my group and I went to go talk to teachers about when would be a good time to start taking pictures for our section.

November 5th Classwork

Today in class my group and I worked on the eighth grade favorites ballot and I think that I deserve a 4 today for my work.
